Beginning January 1, 2020, employees who are considered “salaried” and exempt from the FLSA’s overtime pay provisions must earn a guaranteed minimum salary of at least $684/week ($35,568/year) in order to be treated as such. This is higher than the current threshold of $455/week, or $23,550/year.
