Deconstruction begins of alternative COVID Care Center in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo — At last report, officials at Mesa County Public Health say there have now been 892 confirmed cases locally since the pandemic began. The county also has 6 related deaths, with 5 people currently hospitalized. But in good news, 766 people have recovered. And even with the uptick in positive COVID cases in the county, as well as the state, Colorado has started deconstruction on two alternative care sites. One of which is in Grand Junction.
