Urgent request from the University of Washington (UW) Medicine health system in Seattle, WA. The system includes 4 hospitals and a clinic network of at least 100 primary, urgent and specialty clinic locations around the greater Puget Sound region. Seattle is at the forefront of the COVID 19 pandemic and is seeing a growing shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. PPE is the limiting factor to being able to deliver life-saving treatment, while protecting our healthcare workers. University of Washington (UW) Medicine health system is in desperate need of;
- N95 respirators (all sizes)
- Tyvek suits (all sizes),
- Nitrile gloves (all sizes),
- Clear plastic face shields to cover N95,
- Half face respirators and N100 /or P100 cartridges (all sizes).
While we know there is a shortage of supplies, members unused PPE can translate to a health care setting. Please consider reaching out to the hardest hit areas of the US first, but also your local health systems to see what you can provide.
If you are able to donate or sell these supplies, please send or reach out.
